Butch’s long music career began in his homeland the Philippines with his band Hocus Pocus and the international folk/rock star Freddy Aguilar Anak. After relocating to Singapore he joined the Exide Band playing the Asian Hard Rock Cafe and hotel circuits for many years. In 1990 the Exide Band moved to N.Z. where Butch has spent the last 10 years working with Auckland based bands Constellation, Planet and Kick.
